The region of Monterey on the California Central Coast is the best Pinot Noir producing region in the United States, known for its cool breeze from the Gulf of Mexico.
The vineyards that stretch from north to south are reminiscent of Côte d’Or in Burgundy, France.
Miura Winery was founded in 1995 by Emmanuel Chemigi, who holds the title of master sommelier with only about 150 people in the world, abandoning the position of chef sommelier at Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco.
In 1999 he was named “Wine Director of the Year”.
The winery was named MIURA after his hometown of Spanish bullfighting.

Embark on a journey of discovery with this captivating red wine, a testament to the artistry of the winemaker and the allure of ancient winemaking techniques. Its deep crimson hue hints at the richness and complexity within, while its aromatic bouquet offers a tantalizing glimpse into the myriad of flavors waiting to be explored. On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and hints of tobacco leaf mingle with subtle notes of cedarwood and a touch of graphite, creating a symphony of aromatics that captivates the senses. The palate is equally enchanting, with flavors of blackcurrants, plums, and a hint of dark chocolate, all framed by velvety tannins and well-integrated oak. Its long, lingering finish leaves a lasting impression, inviting contemplation and conversation. This red wine is a true masterpiece, perfect for those who seek adventure in every glass.
