The most standard champagne of Krug champagne is “Grand Cuvée”. Champagne is a blend of grapes with different harvest years, and other champagnes are commonly referred to as non-vintage. It is called “Multi-Vintage” because it is built.
The wine added to the base is 20-50%, and the famous fermentation in Otaru is the primary fermentation for 6 years in the cellar.
The grapes are Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, but the ratio is not disclosed. After bottling, it will be shipped after a minimum age of 6 years.
