Richebourg is an exclusive field located on the Cote de Nuit, one of the six exclusive areas in the village of Vosne Romanée, located on the hillside of Cote d’Or, between La Romanée and Romanée-Conti.
The meaning of the name “Richebourg” is “Rich Town” in English, but it is not clear why this name was given to this field.
Richebourg has a total area of about 8 hectares and is the second largest of the Vosne Romanée, after the Romanée Saint Vivant. Currently, this exclusive field is owned by the Domaine de la Romanée Conti, as well as the Gro family. By the way, DRC owns a 3.51 hectare Richebourg field.
