The ultimate dry white wine “Iglec du Chateau d’Yquem” is made from grapes grown in the same field as Dychem and not spoiled.
Until 2004, Iglek was made about once every four years when noble rot grapes could not be harvested in the best condition.
In recent years, due to the detailed management of the fields and the improvement of technology, a certain amount is harvested as grapes for igrec when the Botrytis bacteria begin to attach. This rare white wine is released every year.
A barrel is used for aging, and it is a luxurious white wine with a rich, powerful taste and sweet aroma.
The appearance of straw-tinted gold. Beginning with the fruit aromas of grapefruit and white peach, the sweet scent of pineapple and mango and the savory and strong barrel aroma of toast, nuts and brioche drift around the glass.
The taste is fresh, but it has a solid richness and a strong mouthfeel.
