Pomar is a small village with a population of 300, 3 km south of Beaune, in the heart of the Cote de Beaune district.
Pomar is praised as “the wine of the region of Beaune”, and while being regarded as the most masculine in the Cote de Beaune, it produces an excellent red wine that is not only powerful but also supple and plump. It is an acclaimed appellation with 27 sections of Premier Cru (first-class field).
Deep garnet color.
The nuances of red fruits, especially strawberries, are felt, and the scent is complex and deep.
The balance of fruit and solid tannins is exquisite, and you can feel the gentle power.
