Known as the chateau of the village of Falgu in the Balzac district, the Château Romer du Ayo has a history of more than 300 years. The Ayo family, acquired in 1851, earned a second-class rating in the Bordeaux rating of 1855, and since then it has been producing excellent noble rot wines for generations. In 1987, when it was produced in very small quantities, it had a characteristic taste with the flavor of grapes picked later than noble rot. As it matures, its smooth and sweet taste is very attractive.
