Clos du Marquis Saint Julien
Reference price : $44.98~
Clos du Marquis is the second wine produced by Château Leoville Las Cars, located in Saint-Julien next to Pauillac, a second-class Medoc rating.
History goes back to the 17th century. Leoville Poiffere and Leoville Balton are brothers and both have a second grade rating. It is said that the land that was originally one was divided into three parts and shared, but it is the most delicate style among the three chateaus.
It is said to have a slightly pauillac-like taste, and is accompanied by strength, fine acidity, and soft tannins such as velvet.
It has been owned by the Dillon family since the 19th century, and the current owner is Jean Hubert Dillon, the third generation. “I want you to have fun with your loved ones such as family and friends!” With such a wish in mind, the wine is made by a rated chateau, but it is made with a taste that is easy to match with food.
